As much as we all love to run around and play in the mountains - we have to know how they work and what dangers can await.

This is a video showing a burial and recovery of an avy victim....it makes your stomach turn, while at the same time it really makes you want to get out and get educated.

Notice that upon finding the victim they DO NOT move him- the last thing you'd ever want to do if your buddy has a spinal injury is yank on their arm or neck until you completely uncover him and than assess any potential injuries.
